Q. What is your labor rate?
A. Marine Power Solutions charges $150.00 per hour standard time and $225.00 per hour overtime.

Q. Do you charge a mileage charge?
A. Not on jobs in San Diego, CA up to Newport Beach, CA. There is a flat hourly charge of 1 hour round trip for jobs in San Diego and 2 hours round trip for jobs in Newport and Marina Del Rey. Anything further north will have to be determined on a case by case basis.

Q. Will you travel to Cabo or Ensenada?
A. Yes. Marine Power Solutions can perform services in Cabo and Ensenada. Please call or email us for details.

Q. What types of services do you offer?
A. Engine inspections, maintenance, and repair services on most diesel propulsion engines and generator engines.

Q. What product lines do you offer service and parts for?
A. Marine Power Solutions is an authorized dealer for Northern Lights, Scania, and FPT. As such, we carry an array of parts for these brands in stock. Additionally, MPS specializes in most services on Northern Lights, Scania, FPT, John Deere, MTU, and Detroit Diesel. We also network with the manufacturers to get the best deals on parts for these brands as well, so our prices are extremely competitive.

Q. What methods of payment do you accept?
A. We currently accept Cashier’s Checks, Money Orders, Wire Transfers, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and PayPal. Please note that fees may apply for credit card payments.

Q. Do you require a deposit to secure a reservation?
A. Yes, in most cases a deposit is required.

Q. Do you service marine gears?
A. Yes. Marine Power Solutions is your one stop shop and can service your marine gears and coolers.

Q. Do you charge to dispose of used oil and/or coolant?
A. Yes, there is a disposal fee. Charges are based off of quantity.

Q. What warranties do you offer?
A. When Marine Power Solutions supplies a part and provide installation of said part, a workmanship warranty is offered for six months from the date of invoice. There is also a 12 month warranty against defects. Please click here for our warranty terms.

Q. Am I able to return a part that I purchased through MPS?
A. Yes. Please click here for acceptable return criteria.

Q. Is Marine Power Solutions LLC insured?
A. Yes, We are insured, licensed, and certified.

Q. Why wouldn’t I want to use Marine Power Solutions?
A. That is a good question. We can see no reason for that.
